About the Event
This book study is part of our intentional focus on action to address Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Racial Justice in the Collaborative Network and among our network partners. If you live, work, or play in the Jackson, MI community and are committed to rooting out mindsets, policies, practices, and power dynamics that are contributing to inequitable results, you need to join us for this book study!
We are working with Dr. Shelley Jones-Holt from Leadership Legacy Consulting, LLC to build shared understanding and common language specific to cultural proficiency as a first step.
Virtual discussions sessions facilitated by Dr. Shelley will be held monthly, June through December 2021. The purpose of these sessions is to support learning and to provide opportunities to dig into the content as we explore complex and challenging conversations together.
You do not need to commit to attending all discussion sessions to be part of the book study.
Register by 5/20 to receive a free copy of the book and join us for as many sessions as you can as you read through the book. Registration link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/DEIRJ_Book_Study.
